About
Sarah Denison-Johnston began her writing career as a technical legal writer for an immigration firm, where she fell in love with the power of storytelling in it’s ability to compel those with power and influence to see the perspective of another, and make a choice to help a family stay together.
Denison-Johnston merged her love of storytelling with her passion for public health. She attended global conferences as a freelance writer, contributing blogs and journalistic coverage, and eventually began working for an international health non-profit, where she honed her writing and editing, strategic communications planning, and project management skills.
Denison-Johnston’s main interests lie at the intersections of public health, equity, and climate change and is dedicated to building a more sustainable and just world.
In her free time, Denison-Johnston enjoys anything in the outdoors, but especially rock climbing, hiking, and spending quality time with family.
